These 7DT PDK clutch upgrades are designed for high horsepower builds and demanding track use, where OEM clutches can exceed their limits.
They are compatible with a wide range of Porsche models, including the 911 (Carrera and GT variants), Cayman, Boxster, and Panamera equipped with the 7-speed PDK system.
The upgraded dual-clutch units are based on factory-sealed OEM designs, but are modified by machining open the original sealed housing and replacing it with a removable billet lid and retaining ring system. This allows the clutch to become serviceable and reusable, rather than a permanently sealed assembly.
The high-performance clutch kit uses:
- High-friction, motorsport-grade friction material
- Hardened and tempered alloy steels
- A 6-plate friction stack, increasing clamp capacity over OEM designs for improved torque holding
Each kit typically includes:
- Billet lid and retaining ring
- Clutch stack assemblies
- Billet end plate
- Circlips and hardware required for assembly
An upgraded aluminum front clutch cover is also used to address the common issue of OEM cover distortion and leakage under sustained heat and track conditions.
