Over time, the hydraulic pump can wear out or become damaged, leading to reduced performance or failure of the ACD/AYC system. The Rebuild Kit includes all the necessary parts to rebuild the hydraulic pump, including seals, o-rings, and other components.
Viton O-rings will provide higher temperatures and better chemical resistance than OEM.
We recommend frequent service of pump units every two years or 60K miles, primarily if the vehicle is driven in regions that use road salt or other harsh environments that can cause galvanic corrosion.
