This is a new replacement Ram ProMaster pump motor. The Ram PromMaster pump motor is used to generate pressure for the Dual Active Drive transmission. Without ample pressure in the system the vehicle's transmission will not be able to change gears or operate the clutch. 

The Ram ProMaster Pump Motor a direct replacement and will bolt directly onto your vehicle.

90% of Dual Active Drive Transmission pressure build failures can be attributed to electric motor or accumulator wear/malfunction.

Both Electric motor and accumulator should be considered regular wear items and replaced periodically to maintain optimum system functionality.

Replacement of electric relay is highly recommended anytime there is a motor failure. Not doing so could cause erratic switching on/off times of pump and cause further damage to new components.
