Lamborghini Gallardo E-Gear High-Pressure Filter replacement

The Gallardo E-gear high-pressure filter is a critical component that is often overlooked during routine service. Over time, this filter can become clogged with metal debris. When this happens, metal particles can circulate through the E-gear system, leading to premature wear and component failure.

Failure to replace the filter may result in additional issues such as leaking seals and damage to the solenoid valves. To prevent these problems, we strongly recommend replacing the high-pressure filter whenever the E-gear motor and accumulator are serviced.

The filter is located inside the pump housing. Replacement involves removing the retaining circlip and extracting the filter plug. The MLR replacement kit includes a new filter, spring, and O-rings to ensure proper sealing and reliable operation.
