New OEM replacement motor for the Ford Transit ASM HPU.
90% of ASM pressure build failures can be attributed to electric motor bearing failure.
An ASM system failure is almost always as a result of the bearing on the motor failing. Bearing failure leads to the motor overworking itself resulting in burn out of the commutator and brushes.
Replacement of electric relay is highly recommended anytime there is a motor failure. Not doing so could cause erratic switching on/off times of pump and cause further damage to new components.
Note: What you are purchasing is a new assembly NOT a rebuilt one. All components have been designed specifically for the Ford Transit ASM HPU torque requirement.
