This is a new replacement Fiat Ducato pump motor. The pump motor generates pressure for the Comfortmatic transmission. Without ample pressure in the system the vehicle's transmission will not be able to change gears or operate the clutch.
The Fiat Ducato Pump Motor is a direct replacement and will bolt directly onto your vehicle.
90% of Dual Active Drive Transmission pressure build failures can be attributed to electric motor or accumulator wear/malfunction.
Both Electric motor and accumulator should be considered regular wear items and replaced periodically to maintain optimum system functionality.
We recommend replacing the electric relay anytime there is a motor failure. Not doing so could cause erratic switching on/off times of pump and cause further damage to new components.
