E46 M3 SMG Pump Relocation Kit (CSL)

The E46 M3 SMG pump relocation kit CSL option was designed to provide an effective solution for extending the wire harness and/or the high-pressure hoses that connect to the SMG pump. This kit is engineered to ensure that all components facilitate the relocation of the pump to the trunk/boot/tailgate of the vehicle, offering more flexibility and space management.

The E46 M3 SMG pump relocation kit was specifically developed for customers whose vehicles have the ABS pump installed in the passenger side drug bin. Through collaboration with some of our existing customers, we found that while it is technically feasible to fit both the SMG pump and the ABS pump in the same compartment, this setup presents significant challenges in terms of serviceability. The primary issue identified was the difficulty in accessing and maintaining the components when they are crammed into a limited space.

To address these concerns, our relocation kit allows for a more organized and accessible configuration by moving the SMG pump to a less congested area. This not only improves the ease of service but also enhances the overall functionality and longevity of the vehicle’s systems.
